Course Description: 
This course focuses on the topics of: (1) the structures and functions of basic components making up the architecture of a computer system such as CPU, memory and I/O systems; (2) the functions and mechanisms of important components of the operating systems such as process management, memory management, I/O system management, file management and communication management; (3) instruction sets of machine language and the program implementation mechanism of CPUs; (4) the coordination between components of computer architecture and operating system in program implementation and external systems connection.
