Course Description: 
This course provides students with skills and knowledge in the configuration and design process for computer networks. The focus will be on LAN and WLAN technologies. Students will learn about network cabling infrastructures (NCI), Layer 2 and Layer 3 LAN designs as well as WLAN standards, equipment, and models. Students will develop their network design skills through actual design, installation, and setup of certain LANs and WANs in the lab settings. A brief introduction on WAN technical specifications, connectivity techniques, and design options is also provided by the end of the course.
