Corequisite(s): N/A
Course Description:
CDIO (i.e., Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) is an outcome-based framework mostly for students in engineering and technology disciplines to develop real-world systems and products. As a second member of Vietnam in this worldwide initiative, Duy Tan University offers CDIO courses to its students in the Division of Technology & Sciences (DTS) to enhance their creativity and teamwork skillset. In this course, students are required to look for a real-world IT problem, ideally being dealt with by some companies in the industry, and to propose and develop a solution for that problem as a team effort. Compared to previous CDIO courses, students in this course need to indicate their adopted product development process and to follow it closely through well-planned schedules and detailed documentations. Besides their instructor, students in groups can also nominate another mentor outside in the industry, who will work with them closely on the project.
