Course Description: 

This course provides students with the knowledge related to the overall network security and Intranet security. Students will learn about various security protocols and security architectures besides security infrastructures like firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS). A brief introduction to network security applications is also provided with respect to PGP, S/MIME, HTTPS, DNSSEC, SSL, Cloud security.
