Program Educational Objectives

The curriculum is structured with a total of 130 credits, including base knowledge, physical education and defense, and general and specialized disciplines. The course system consists of compulsory and electives courses. For compulsory courses students must register and study these courses, for elective courses students may choose one of the optional group courses.

The Program Educational Objectives of the Computer Science program of the Faculty of Information Technology of DTU:
  • PEO 1. Be effective in utilizing mathematics and Computer Science knowledge to solve information techonology problems around the world.
  • PEO 2. Be actively aware of career ethics and responsibility.
  • PEO 3. Be effective in utilizing the methods, technical and tools required for the hardware and software system.
  • PEO 4. Be able to expand knowledge and skills related to contemporary issues of Computer Science area.
